SALON TRAILBLAZER CURRIE HAIR, SKIN, NAILS JOINS FORCES WITH INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED HOTEL DUPONT IN HISTORIC WILMINGTON OPENING ON JANUARY 5TH

Wilmington, DE December 1, 2020 — Iconic salon owner Randy Currie, CEO and founder of Currie Hair Skin and Nails, to open a brand new salon and spa this winter inside HOTEL DU PONT Wilmington. This marks the fifth salon location for Currie Hair Skin Nails across two states. Currie strives to infuse modern-day COVID safety necessities with established master stylists and longtime partners L’Oreal and Redken.

In joining forces with the architectural jewel, HOTEL DU PONT, Currie created a seamless transition from a formal financial institution to a beauty mecca. Equipped with a 1930s Wilmington Trust renovated bank safe and classic style of the early 1900s, the modernized salon and spa accommodates 8 nail stations, 2 makeup stations, 12 stylist hair stations and 3 spa treatment rooms with showers and infrared sauna.

We are able to immerse the city of Wilmington with the pure luxury it deserves. We will be offering hair, nail, massage, and skin treatments in our new space with the epitome of luxury service. To protect our employees and staff, each station in the new salon, and all Currie salons have plexiglass screens on all shampoo bowls, front desk, and manicure/pedicure stations. Additionally, all salons are professionally cleaned by Oasis using PermaSafe System: “a disinfectant and long-term antimicrobial protection that eliminates 99.999% of bacteria against SARS-CoV -2, the novel coronavirus that causes the COVID-19.”
