Remember the excitement of back to school shopping? Getting yourself together with all your supplies, buying a first day of school outfit and a new look? Why does that have to end once your graduate (even years later)? It doesn’t! Each fall I celebrate the change of seasons, with some shopping, organization and a fresh new look for my hair.
After a summer of going lighter and lighter with balayage, I worked with my go-to girl at Currie, Melissa Archdeacon at Currie Hair, Skin and Nails Glen Mills, to go richer for fall. Melissa added some more depth into my lightened locks from the sun and pushed up my balayage up closer to my roots. She then glazed my hair to give a slightly cinnamon red finish to warm it up.
I wanted a bouncier look for fall so we added more layers all around my head and framed my face with some angles starting just below my chin.
While I may go even darker in a month or two for the fall/winter season this is the perfect transition into fall so that we aren’t drastically change my look over night and still keeping the highlights and balayage.
I can’t wait to wear my new look with fall’s trendy hair accessories such as headbands, hair clips and event hats!
